A Note on Character Transfers
by ROMzombie on Jan.12, 2009, under Announcements
We recently had an email exchange with White Wolf’s web systems programmer, and it was mentioned that they will not be releasing any information related to user account. Unfortunately, that puts us in an awkward position, as we will have no way to easily associate users with their characters.
In order to overcome this, we will be creating a system by which players can claim their existing character by using two pieces of information as a key:
- the complete and exact character name
- the complete and exact text of the character’s concept field
We recommend that you take the time now to write down the keys for each of your characters and keep them in a safe place. We’ll handle un-keyed requests on a case by case basis by hand later on a limited basis, when required.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Good morning!
It’s a new year, a new site and a new game, but the same friends you’ve played with for years on White-Wolf.com. The Forums and Wiki are both up and running, and you can play with the Chat all you like for the moment, until the character database is integrated. We will be getting the character database in Febuary when White White releases it, so keep in mind, any changes done to existing characters can not be guaranteed to be replicated across after this point.

Getting booted from White Wolf’s chat sites come March 09?
We’re here to help!
We’ll be hosting several of the existing chat games, including the current Moderated, un-Moderated and Exalted games, as well as creating a NEW venue from scratch with the help of some of your favorite Storytellers.
To make life even better for Storytellers and Players of online games, we’re also going to be developing web-based game management software as an Open-Source project. If you have any feature requests, please submit them to the Issue Tracker on the Google Code page for the project.
